The Old-School Baptist Meeting House was originally built in 1811, and has been under the careful ownership of the Warwick Historical Society since July 27, 1952. In the years after acquiring the church, the Society purchased properties in the immediate area so that the church is now surrounded by Lewis Park on Main Street, in the center if the Village, located between Church and High Streets. From Main Street, you can look up the hill through the trees and see the Old-School presiding over the town. It is a well-known and beloved Hudson Valley landmark.
Over the years many Warwick NY weddings have been held there, a lovely old-town venue with receptions held in Lewis Park and occasionally in one of the unique historic homes in the neighborhood maintained by the Historic Society.
